Bella Thorne stars in new Freeform drama, "Famous in Love," in new trailer

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- In a trailer released on Monday, Bella Thorne stars in Freeform's new drama, Famous in Love, by Pretty Little Liars executive producer I. Marlene King.

Famous in Love, based on Rebecca Serle's book of the same name, follows normal girl Paige (played by Thorne) as she auditions for and lands the role in a Hollywood blockbuster, which causes her life to drastically change.

Famous which boasts the tagline, "The brighter the spotlight, the darker the secrets," also stars Carter Jenkins, Charlie DePew, Niki Koss, and Keith Powers.

It's set to premiere in April 2017 following the spring premiere of Pretty Little Liars.
