Demi Lovato linked to UFC fighter Luke Rockhold

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Demi Lovato reportedly has a new man in her life.

The 24-year-old singer is quietly dating 31-year-old UFC fighter Luke Rockhold, according to TMZ.

Sources told the website Lovato and Rockhold had instant chemistry after meeting earlier this year at Unbreakable gym in Los Angeles. The pair appear to have slyly alluded to their relationship on Instagram.

Rockhold had shared a photo of a smiley face on his pinky finger on Aug. 4, writing, "Sessions at Junqs make me happy." Lovato posted a similar picture days later with the caption, "Cause life's too short not to tattoo your pinky."

News of the reported romance comes more than two months after Lovato's split from boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama. She and the 36-year-old actor called it quits in June after six years of dating.

"I feel really amazing," the singer told Elvis Duran and the Morning Show the next month. "I feel really great and I'm growing. My life is just really, really exciting for me because I'm growing. It's new and fresh, and I feel free."

"[My health and music] are pretty much my life. And I love it," she previously told reporters. "My life now consists of doing thing that are bettering, that are going to better myself."

Lovato last released the album Confident in October and is presently on her Future Now tour with Nick Jonas. Rockhold is known for winning the UFC middleweight title, but lost to Michael Bisping in June.
