NEW YORK, July 29 (UPI) -- Serena Williams still speaks fondly of onetime love interest Drake.

The 34-year-old tennis pro gave a cute shoutout to the 29-year-old rapper while discussing love and other topics in a 73 Questions interview with Vogue.

Williams gave a big smile in the rapid-fire interview as she named "Aubrey" as "the funniest person" she knows. Drake was born Aubrey Drake Graham in Toronto, Canada, in 1986.

The 22-time Grand Slam singles winner didn't offer more details about Drake, but did share her views on love. She admitted "the most romantic thing a guy has ever done for her" hasn't happened "yet" but was enthusiastic about the prospect.

"Love is magical," she said. "It's something you may only experience once in life."

Williams and Drake are longtime friends who were romantically linked in 2015. Drake's rep denied the couple were engaged in October after news outlets reported the rapper proposed to Williams during a trip to Toronto.

"All of Serena's friends approve of the pair," a source had told E! News in August. "[Drake] is a true gentleman and is very supportive ... They are both private people when it comes to their personal lives."

Drake has since been linked to on-again, off-again girlfriend Rihanna. Insiders told E! this month the rapper has "never stopped" loving the singer and is "having fun spending time" with her again.
