Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson split after 10 years

NEW YORK, July 19 (UPI) -- Hollywood couple Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson have decided to call it quits after spending 10 years together.

"Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson have decided to separate and remain friends," a rep for the pair confirmed to People magazine.

Kruger, 40 and Jackson, 38 were first linked together in 2006 following the actress' divorce from her husband of five years, director Guillaume Canet.

The couple, who were often spotted out together around New York City, have recently been seen apart as Kruger attended the premiere of her latest film, The Infiltrator without him. Kruger also celebrated her recent birthday alone.

The couple who were engaged in 2014, never formally tied the knot due to not being religious. "I don't feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party," the former Dawson's Creek star said at the time.
