LOS ANGELES, July 6 (UPI) -- Jim Carrey's ex-girlfriend Cathriona White, who overdosed on an array of prescription medicines in September 2015, wrote in a suicide note that she did not want to go on without him, TMZ reported.

The suicide occurred shortly after Carrey reportedly broke up with White.

"I've spent 3 days now in disbelief that you're not here," White wrote. "I can go on brokenhearted and try to put the pieces back. I could, I just don't have the will this time. "I'm sorry you felt I wasn't there for you. I tried to give you my best part."

She goes on "Please forgive me. I'm just not for this world."

The 30-year-old also discussed funeral plans and asked that her possessions be sold with the proceeds going to her family.

A native of Ireland, White had been dating Carrey since the two met on a film set in 2012.

Her friend, Dennis Bradshow, told police she was typically an upbeat, happy person, but tended to get "really down," People reported.

Her autopsy report mentioned that she and Carrey had broken up a week prior to her suicide.

White reportedly took some of Carrey's pain killers, prescribed to him for back pain. She also had pain killers prescribed to her from a surgical procedure.

Police found a text message on the woman's phone from Carrey asking where his pain killers were and that they were missing from under the sink.

She reportedly had tried to commit suicide with pills in 2012 after her father died.

White's autopsy report confirms that she had propranolol - a high blood pressure beta blocker - zolpidem, a sleeping pill, as well as the pain killers oxycodone and oxymorphone in her system.

Police found three empty pill bottles on her bed when they discovered White dead.
