LOS ANGELES, June 29 (UPI) -- Drew Barrymore is talking to Warner Bros. and Ellen DeGeneres' production company about hosting her own talk show.

Deadline reported that a talk show with Barrymore as host could air as soon as next year. No deal has been finalized, however.

Barrymore, 41, is already working with Warner Bros. as narrator on the reality series First Dates. The company has declined to comment on any future talk show involving the actress.

Barrymore has been producing for television in recent years, and is now executive producer of the Esquire series Knife Fight. She also executive produced VH1's Tough Love and is reportedly in discussions with Warner Bros. about a new producer deal.

She is also gearing up for more acting. Barrymore has a starring role in Netflix's comedy Santa Clarita Diet playing opposite Timothy Olyphant. She is also executive producer of the series.

Her previous acting credits include The Wedding Singer, Donnie Darko, Never Been Kissed, 50 First Dates, Scream and Charlie's Angels.
