Nicolas Cage is separated from his third wife Alice Kim

LOS ANGELES, June 25 (UPI) -- Nicolas Cage's publicist says the Oscar-winning actor and his third wife, former waitress Alice Kim, have been separated since January.

The estranged couple, who wed in 2004 after a whirlwind romance, have a 10-year-old son named Kal-el Coppola Cage.

Entertainment Tonight, People magazine and E! News confirmed Cage's split from Kim, 32, but the outlets did not give a reason for it.

Cage, 52, was previously married to Lisa Marie Presley and Patricia Arquette. He has a 25-year-old son, Weston, from his relationship with model Christina Fulton.
