LONDON, June 10 (UPI) -- Brooklyn Beckham is opening up about girlfriend Chloe Grace Moretz.

The 17-year-old British model addressed his relationship with the 19-year-old American actress in the July/August issue of L'Uomo Vogue. Beckham and Moretz live in London and Los Angeles, respectively, and are often apart due to their busy schedules.

"It's really hard for me to think of which city I prefer, it's 50/50 because my girlfriend is in L.A. and all my friends I met at school, but London is my home, it's where I grew up," the star told the magazine.

Beckham was thinking of Moretz when he shared a throwback photo of himself with the actress Wednesday. The picture, captioned "Missing this one," sees the couple get close as Beckham snaps a photo at a concert.

Beckham and Moretz are longtime friends who confirmed their relationship in May. The actress discussed their romance on The Talk after making her red carpet debut with Beckham at the Los Angeles premiere of Neighbors 2.

"We've been off and on together for a couple years now and we just kind of made it official," she explained. "We were always running from the paparazzi and running from people taking pictures of us. We were like, 'You know what? It's affecting our relationship.'"

"We weren't able to go to the restaurants we wanted to go to or just go to a movie," the actress added. "We're like, 'You know what? If we're more upfront about it and break down the iron curtain and just let them take our photo, they're not going to care.'"
