NEW YORK, June 7 (UPI) -- How better to prepare for the upcoming Tony Awards than with a car full of Broadway stars singing carpool karaoke?

Tony Awards host James Corden prepared for his latest gig with a special Broadway version of The Late Late Show's popular segment.

The show picked up four of Broadway's big stars, including Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda, Fully Committed's Jesse Tyler Ferguson, She Loves Me's Jane Krakowski and Shuffle Along's Audra McDonald as Corden, The Late Late Show host, made his way to the Beacon Theater for the show, which airs June 12, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The carload of Broadway stars "awwing" when Corden suggested "Seasons of Love" from Rent, went on also to sing their version of "Can't Take My Eyes off You" before Corden had Ferguson and Krakowski, both TV stars, admit which they preferred, "theater or money."

Ferguson took the high road, saying "there is nothing like live theater."

They ended the roll with an apparently improvised version of Les Miserables' "One More Day."
