Paris Hilton hosts sister Nicky Hilton's baby shower

NEW YORK, June 2 (UPI) -- Paris Hilton hosted a swanky baby shower for sister Nicky Hilton, who is expecting her first child.

On Instagram, the famed heiress shared with her followers images from the shower, including its cake and a group photo with the siblings' mother.

Paris also posted a photo of herself cradling 32-year-old Nicky's baby bump, saying she "can't wait to meet" her sister's new daughter.

The intimate event took place at The Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York, in a suite where the two are said to have grown up, according to Us Weekly. "It has special meaning," a source told the outlet.

"Makes me so happy to see my sister so happy, beautiful, & glowing. So excited for her starting her new family," Paris Hilton wrote in another Instagram post of the two siblings.

Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel and actress Bijou Phillips were also in attendance at the shower.

News Nicky Hilton was expecting broke early this year, in mid-January. The pregnancy occurred six months after the hotel heiress married British banker James Rothschild. They married in London's Kensington Palace.
