LOS ANGELES, May 26 (UPI) -- Rob Kardashian is getting closer to his goal weight.

The 29-year-old reality star proudly displayed his progress in an Instagram post Wednesday, but acknowledged he still has "a lot of work to do."

"LOL!" he captioned a side-by-side comparison of his larger and slimmer self. "Still got a lot of work to do and weight to lose but glad I'm getting better."

Kardashian had lost 50 pounds as of mid-April and celebrated the milestone on social media. He revealed he weighed 248.4 pounds at the time and said he is "focused and determined" to reach 200 to 205.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star had gained 100 pounds between 2014 and 2015 and was diagnosed with diabetes in December. His weight loss journey began in January after he started dating Blac Chyna, whom he credited as his "motivation."

"Everything about him has changed," a source previously told Us Weekly of Blac Chyna's influence on Kardashian. "She's been so good for him."

Kardashian and Blac Chyna got engaged in April and announced they're expecting their first child this month. The 28-year-old model gushed about Kardashian and their unborn child after sharing a photo of her sonogram Monday.

"For a long time I felt like King was going to be an only child," she said of her 3-year-old son by ex-fiancé Tyga. "I was no longer looking for love because I thought I had all that I needed. We needed."

"But look at God! Here I am engaged to be married to one of the greatest men I know who loves King & I unconditionally and having another bundle of joy! I just want to say never give up & always have faith because fairytales do come true," the star encouraged.

Kardashian appears on his family's E! series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
