As automobiles of all makes and models are shown battling it out to reach first place, the trailer also highlights new features coming to Gran Turismo, including an in-depth photo mode and more customization options for the game's loaded library of sports cars.

As the first Gran Turismo made for the Playstation 4, Sport follows the release of 2013's Gran Turismo 6 for the Playstation 3. Sport is more of a spinoff, however, as Sony and Polyphony Digital still maintain that Gran Turismo 7 is still in development.

Sport will be compatible with Sony's upcoming virtual reality headset, Playstation VR, set for release this October.
