Selena Gomez dating again: 'I've been having the best time'

LOS ANGELES, May 11 (UPI) -- Selena Gomez is back on the market and having a good time.

The 23-year-old singer and actress revealed she's dating again in the June issue of Marie Claire, but admitted she struggles with trust issues when it comes to potential partners.

"I've been dating," the star told the magazine. "I've been having the best time. But I don't trust anybody, so dating can only be fun if I know I'm going to have fun."

Gomez was most famously involved in a highly-publicized on-again, off-again relationship with singer Justin Bieber. The pair still regularly make headlines together, with fans and media outlets rehashing their past and speculating about their future.

"I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life," the actress said of public interest in the relationship.

"I would leave a room feeling defeated, feeling embarrassed, but I would always make sure to put that smile on my face because I wasn't going to let them get to me," she confessed.

Since her split from Bieber, Gomez has been linked to Anton Zaslavski, aka Zedd, and Samuel Krost. She was also spotted cozying up to actor Orlando Bloom at Light nightclub in Las Vegas over the weekend.

"It's hard," the actress previously said of dating to InStyle U.K. "I'm weirded out by the idea that a guy has Googled me before we meet, and that has happened ... I feel like I look 16 sometimes, which is a bummer because I would love to date older guys."

Gomez released her second studio album, Revival, in October, and kicked off her accompanying tour Friday in Las Vegas. She will next appear in the movie Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, which opens in theaters May 20.
