Anne Hathaway gives birth to first child

LOS ANGELES, April 8 (UPI) -- Anne Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy.

Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman was born on March 24 in Los Angeles Hathaway's rep has confirmed to multiple outlets.

"The baby is extremely healthy and is surrounded by friends and family in L.A.," a source disclosed to E! News. "Anne and Adam are ecstatic to be parents."

News broke that the Oscar winning actress was pregnant with her first child with her husband back in November. Shulman and Hathaway have been married since 2012.

Hathaway will next be seen reprising her role as the White Queen in Alice Through the Looking Glass due out in theaters May 27.
