SEOUL, March 8 (UPI) -- Chloe Grace Moretz became the first American to appear on South Korea's Saturday Night Live sketch comedy show.

The actress was reportedly in the country to promote multiplayer PC game Sudden Attack when she guest-starred in a skit as the Korean drama-obsessed girlfriend of a Korean boy.

Wearing a traditional Korean hanbok dress, Moretz, 19, takes part in a conversation riddled with misunderstandings prompting overdramatic reactions. Her character responded to her co-stars' conversation with dramatic flare similar to that found in Korean soap operas.

The actress spoke primarily in Korean during her appearance, the only English lines being "Oh my God!" and "Different moms?!"

At one point in the scene, the Neighbors 2 actress slaps her onscreen fiance with a handful of kimchi, reportedly referencing an iconic scene from 2014 Korean dramedy Everybody, Kimchi!
