Kylie Minogue engaged to 28-year-old British actor

LONDON, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Kylie Minogue and Galavant star Joshua Sasse are engaged.

The 47-year-old Australian singer and 28-year-old British actor thanked fans for their support in an Instagram post after announcing their engagement Friday.

"A huge thanks for all of your kind wishes today. Love & Love, J & K," the couple wrote.

Minogue and Sasse reportedly got engaged on a ski vacation and announced the news in The Daily Telegraph. The couple met on the set of Galavant and have been linked since September.

"I think the general consensus is, we kind of look right together," Minogue previously said of their age difference on The Project. "So even though on paper it might not look right, it just is right ... Even if I try and act cool and natural, it's written all over my face that I am very happy."

Minogue last released the holiday album Kylie Christmas in November and guest starred on Galavant in January. Sasse plays the title character on the ABC series, which completed a second season last month.
