NEW YORK, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Singer Ciara is demanding $15 million in damages from her ex, Future, over his alleged public criticism of her mothering capabilities.

The rapper and father of Ciara's son, also named Future, has spoken out in contention against his former fiancee in recent months, saying the R&B singer's boyfriend Russell Wilson was part of a publicity stunt of her design against him.

"She probably set him up," Future said in response to the photo, publicized over the summer. "Leave my son out of the publicity stunts. Just leave him out of your relationship."

TMZ reports Ciara cites her ex's recent comments in her complaint among others including a Twitter rant by the rapper in January. "This [expletive] got control problems," he reportedly wrote. "I gotta go through lawyers to see baby future...the [expletive] for 15k a month."

"I jus want babyfuture that's all," the rapper wrote in a still-existing tweet. "I been silent for a year & a half..I ran outta patience."

The suit also calls for the deletion of Future's tweets related to his family, and to legally prohibit him from publicly discussing their son.
