OSAKA, Japan, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Capcom has released a new cinematic trailer for the latest entry in its storied fighting game series, Street Fighter V.

The clip released Monday highlights the upcoming title's initial 16-character roster including series mainstays Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li along with newcomers Rashid, Laura and Necalli, showing off their devastating moves and abilities.

Presented in an artful, watercolor aesthetic, the CGI trailer also hints at the game's possible storylines between its characters, including pro wrestler fighters Zangief and R. Mika teaming up and Ryu and Necalli taking part in a fierce rivalry that looks to push both World Warriors to the brink.

Most notably, Street Fighter main antagonist M. Bison is featured prominently as he takes on a host of fighters including a resurrected Charlie Nash, a returning character last seen in Street Fighter Alpha 3.

Street Fighter V is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 and PC on Feb. 16.
