The two exes will also co-parent their 3-year-old son Luca, with neither of them receiving child support.
News of the divorce's finalization comes soon after Duff confirmed the former couple's status as separated, despite an ongoing close friendship.
"We have such a great kid and we're both so obsessed with him," Duff told television host Ellen DeGeneres in late January. "We are good friends and we laugh a lot. We have a great communication -- we share pictures and stories...He's great, we're great, and we keep on trucking."
