Jenelle Evans offends Kailyn Lowry with plastic surgery remarks

DOVER, Del., Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Kailyn Lowry wasn't pleased by Jenelle Evans' remarks on her recent plastic surgeries.

The Teen Mom 2 stars, age 23 and 24, respectively, feuded Tuesday on Twitter after Evans commented on Lowry's Brazilian butt lift and tummy tuck. Lowry accused her co-star of being critical, tweeting, "When your cast mates subtly throw shade at you. It's cool though."

"Sometimes you just have to block people in life that you once believed to be your friend," Evans responded. "I've always been the black sheep of the group, it's all good. I'm use to it now."

Lowry shared a photo Monday with Dr. Michael Salzhauer, aka Dr. Miami, who performed her procedures last week. Evans addressed the star's surgeries in an interview with Us Weekly while discussing her decision not to have Salzhauer shave down her chin.

"She looks great, and I'm happy for [her]," Evans said of Lowry. "Whatever makes her happy. That's her choice. It's just not mine. It's her decision. It's her body. No one can tell her what to do."

Lowry denied getting butt implants after news of her surgeries broke, but defended her decision to have the lift and tuck, tweeting, "Damned if I do, damned if I don't. So I might as well do what I want." Her husband, Javi Marroquin, whom she married in 2013, supported the procedures.

Lowry and Evans co-starred with Chelsea Houska and Leah Messer on Season 2 of MTV series 16 & Pregnant before appearing on Teen Mom 2. Lowry is mom to 6-year-old son Isaac and 2-year-old son Lincoln, while Evans is parent to 6-year-old son Jace.
