NEW YORK, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Robin Williams' Napa Valley estate has been sold for $18.1 million to French winemakers Alfred and Melanie Tesseron.

NEW YORK, Jan. 26 (UPI) -- Robin Williams' Napa Valley estate has been sold for $18.1 million to French winemakers Alfred and Melanie Tesseron. The Wall Street Journal reported the sale.
Built in the early 2000s and nestled in the Mayacamas Mountains, the estate was initially listed in 2012 for $35 million.
The property includes 650 acres and a 20,000-square-foot, Mediterranean-style house with five bedrooms and a swimming pool.
The Oscar-winning actor hanged himself at his primary home in Marin County in August of 2014. He was 63.
The beloved, stand-up comedian and film star was known for his work in Popeye, Moscow on the Hudson, Awakenings, Good Morning Vietnam, The Fisher King, Dead Poet's Society, Good Will Hunting, RV and Aladdin.
