Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki still 'not dating' despite cozy photos

The "Big Bang Theory" co-stars previously dated in secret for two years.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Kaley Cuoco was quick to clarify that she and Johnny Galecki are still "not dating" after the 2016 People's Choice Awards on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old actress declared as much on Instagram after she and the 40-year-old actor were casually affectionate at the annual awards ceremony. Cuoco and Galecki were spotted holding hands in their seats, and cozied up again for photos backstage.

"Thank you for the @peopleschoice award! Look how happy we are! @bigbangtheory_cbs season 9 #mydate #notdating," she wrote. Galecki also shared a snapshot with the actress, writing, "The Beggar and the Beauty #backstage #peopleschoice."

Cuoco and Galecki co-star as Penny and Leonard on CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, and secretly dated from 2008 to 2010. The actress split from husband Ryan Sweeting in September, and denied she and Galecki are back together the next month.

Cuoco was last linked to English actor Paul Blackthorne, while Galecki appears to be dating a different blonde beauty. The actor posted a blurry photo of himself kissing the woman Jan. 1, writing, "Happy New Year!!! To an even more incredible 2016. Let's all learn to love a little better."

The Big Bang Theory won Favorite TV Show and Favorite Network TV Comedy at the PCAs, while Jim Parsons won Favorite Comedic TV Actor for playing Sheldon. The series returned for a ninth season in September, and airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
