Justin Timberlake reveals image of his 'Trolls' character, Branch

WASHINGTON, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Justin Timberlake has revealed the likeness of his character in the upcoming animated film Trolls.

The musician, who will be the film's executive music producer, uploaded a photo of himself to Instagram Wednesday in which he looks over his left shoulder where his animated counterpart, named Branch, is standing.

"Hair we go...I'm officially a #Troll," the Grammy Award-winning artist, wrote in the caption.

Branch, described as a "hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colors," will appear alongside Anna Kendrick's character, Princess Poppy in the DreamWorks film.

Timberlake is not only a character Trolls, due out in November, but will also pen original music for the movie as executive movie producer. The news was announced Tuesday in a statement which the singer expressed his excitement to work on the production.

"I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event," he said. "I couldn't be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks Animation's Trolls. This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can't wait for everyone to experience it all."
