NEW YORK, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Justin Bieber's latest album Purpose has officially sold over one million copies since dropping in November.

After just five weeks, Billboard reports the record has sold 1.01 million copies so far and is Bieber's fifth studio album to reach the mark. Purpose joins Journals, Believe, Under the Mistletoe and My World as the Canadian pop star's top albums.

Purpose is just the third album to have sold over a million copies in 2015 behind Adele's 25 and Drake's If You're Reading This It's Too Late, Billboard notes.

This week, the 21-year-old singer took to Twitter to celebrate his latest No. 1 single, "Love Yourself," which reached the top spot on the United Kingdom's Big Top 40 list. The list's second most popular single is his "Sorry." Both hits are accompanied by cleverly choreographed music videos involving skilled dancers but no Bieber.

"Merry Christmas boys!" Bieber wrote on Twitter after "Love Yourself" was announced as No. 1, tagging song co-writer Ed Sheeran. "We did it. Xmas #1!"
