WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Adele fans experienced frustration as online ticket vendor Ticketmaster crashed shortly after releasing tickets for the singer's upcoming tour.

The site placed tickets for all stops on the nationwide tour up for sale simultaneously at 10 a.m. CST, crashing the site. Tickets, priced from $37 to $147, sold out quickly for some venues leading to thousand dollar resale prices on sites such as StubHub.
