NEW YORK, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Candace Cameron Bure says she was glad to hear about Mary-Kate Olsen's recent wedding.

The 39-year-old actress discussed her 29-year-old former Full House co-star in an interview with Cosmopolitan on Monday. Olsen and Olivier Sarvkozy married Nov. 27, but Bure was not invited to the ceremony.

"[My invitation] must have gotten lost in the mail somewhere," the star told the magazine. Olsen and the 46-year-old French banker tied the knot in New York, and reportedly provided bowls of cigarettes for their guests at the reception.

"I wonder how that would be -- I don't know," Bure said of the free smokes. "I'm not a smoker, so I might not have had so much fun. I'm really happy for Mary-Kate, though. I really am."

Bure will soon reprise D.J. Tanner on Full House sequel Fuller House, but Olsen and twin sister Ashley Olsen won't return as Michelle. Other former co-stars, including Bob Saget, were also not invited to the nuptials.

"I was not invited, but I'm very happy and I sent a mazel tov text," Saget said during an appearance Friday on the Today show.

Fuller House will reportedly explain the Olsen twins' absence by mentioning Michelle now lives in New York as a fashion designer. John Stamos, Lori Loughlin and Jodie Sweetin will also return for the series, scheduled to premiere on Netflix in 2016.
