BERLIN, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Futurama is set to return in mobile game form from "Diamond Dash" developer Wooga, the company announced Monday.

The "Futurama: Release the Drones" game "takes players on a journey with the Planet Express crew as they fight a desperately imbalanced trade war against longtime shipping rival MomCo," reads the game's official description.

"While delivering dangerous cargo to hazardous locations under ill-advised circumstances, players connect groups of delivery drones to solve an array of fiendish puzzles as they venture into iconic environments from the Futurama universe."

The announcement also revealed that Dave Grossman, who co-wrote PC gaming classic "The Secret of Monkey Island" will also be penning the story for Futurama's first mobile game.

No release date was announced.

Futurama characters Bender, Fry, Leela and the rest of the Planet Express crew were last seen on a crossover episode of The Simpsons in 2014 titled "Simpsorama." The beloved Emmy award-winning series ended in 2013 after a 140-episode run.
