NEW YORK, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Gwyneth Paltrow is taking her lifestyle site, Goop, to NYC with a special pop-up shop on Nov. 23 at the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle.

This isn't the first Goop pop-up shop -- Goop Mkt has appeared in Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago -- but it is the first time in the Big Apple and the first time there is a major designer involved -- Valentino.

According to an interview in WWD, Paltrow is working with Valentino's design team, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, for a Wonder Woman-inspired collection.

"All women are in some way Wonder Woman because they have to think about the job, about the kids, about the husband," Chiuri said. "Our idea was to do something that can play with fashion and pieces that are a little punk and a little bit rock 'n' roll in attitude. It helps women mix together things that can be fine and fun."

There are 24 items, including apparel, accessories and shoes, at luxury prices. Leather jackets cost $10,500, while tulle dresses price in at $8,900.

The prices won't shock those who take their shopping cues from Goop, which has been known to tout expensive items like a single gold-plated bobby pin for $185 and clutches emblazoned with rappers' names for $1,695.

The pop-up shop will be open through Dec. 24.
