Ariana Grande named MAC's newest Viva Glam spokesmodel

NEW YORK, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- MAC Cosmetics has unveiled Ariana Grande as its latest Viva Glam spokesperson. She follows celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj in the role.

Revealed Monday via the company's social media outlets including Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat, Grande's photo shoot for the special line of makeup consists of pails of pink paint and the pop-star decked-out in black.

"I am beyond honored and excited to be working with a brand that stands for and always stood up for EQUALITY," wrote the "Focus" singer in an Instagram post highlighting her partnership with MAC. "My lipstick & gloss will be available in January and EVERY PENNY goes to people affected by HIV & AIDS....I have loved & supported @maccosmetics ever since I was a little girl walking through the mall and saw your first #VIVAGLAM girl in the window @rupaulofficial. I'm so honored!!!"

Viva Glam is a charitable campaign that aims to raise money for HIV and AIDS research. Launched in 1994 with drag queen RuPaul as its first spokesperson.
