NEW YORK, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- GQ magazine has unveiled Taylor Swift as its latest cover model for the upcoming November issue.

For Swift's first covershoot with the magazine set in Malibu, the "Bad Blood" songstress dons a simple black bikini underneath a skin-tight, nude-colored dress. Her hair is windswept and wavy, giving the star a relaxed look.

The Grammy-nominated celebrity's interview with the magazine's Chuck Klosterman will be published next week, GQ reports.

"If you don't take Swift seriously, you don't take contemporary music seriously," Klosterman is quoted as writing in the magazine's announcement. "There's simply no antecedent for this kind of career: a cross-genre, youth-oriented, critically acclaimed colossus based entirely on the intuitive songwriting merits of a single female artist. It's as if mid-period Garth Brooks was also early Liz Phair, minus the hat and the swearing."

"As a phenomenon," he writes, "it's absolutely new."
