HOLLYWOOD, Oct. 8 (UPI) -- Keanu Reeves appeared as a safety-first spokesman in a parody of his 1994 flick, Speed, opposite a hair-extension-wearing Jimmy Kimmel.

The parody, which aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night, featured the 51-year-old actor and show's host in A Reasonable Speed, chronicling the two as they embark on a "low speed chase," focusing on driving safely..

After Kimmel's bearded character steals a briefcase of money from Reeves during a questionable exchange, the John Wick actor takes to his red convertible to drive slowly behind his adversary, yelling "Slow down! Twenty is plenty!" as he closes in on a speed bump.

Although Kimmel's character seems to get away with the money in-tow, a driving mistake redirects his fate. The final image of the parody -- which is "the first movie ever produced by the California Highway Patrol" -- shows Reeves winking cleverly into the camera.
