Back in 2012, Bieber added the word "believe" to his left forearm to highlight the release of an upcoming album of the same name.

In August, Bieber released the first single for the album entitled "What Do You Mean?" and elaborated on the upcoming release saying, "I've been working on this thing for three years. I've been trying to figure out the sound. I've been going through phases of doing R&B music, and then really hard hip-hop based music, and now I'm in a place of wanting to really bring all those things together to make one cohesive sound. But it's always weird when people start describing the music that they make. [Other artists and bands will say,] 'It's different,' but my [expletive] is really different."

Recently, the singer made headlines for drinking Hennessy onstage during a concert in Auckland, New Zealand.
