Bella Cruise marries without Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman

LONDON, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Bella Cruise secretly wed boyfriend Max Parker in September.

Woman's Day magazine first reported this week the 22-year-old married Parker at The Dorchester hotel in London on Sept. 18. Cruise's famous parents, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, were not in attendance.

Sources denied rumors of bad feeling between Cruise and her dad to TMZ, and said the 53-year-old actor paid for the ceremony and reception. Tom Cruise reportedly shares a good relationship with his new son-in-law as well.

"[It] was a super low-key, small ceremony," an insider told Us Weekly. "Connor [Cruise] was there but both Tom and Nicole were not. Bella really didn't want to make a big deal out of it. There wasn't even any sort of official reception as it was very, very informal."

Cruise is the elder child of Tom Cruise and Kidman, and sister to 20-year-old Connor. The actor and 48-year-old actress were married from 1990 to 2001, and Kidman recently discussed the importance of keeping in touch with her two eldest children.
