LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17 (UPI) -- Dane Cook dismissed Miley Cyrus dating rumors with a joke Wednesday. The 43-year-old comedian laughed off reports he is involved with the 22-year-old singer, telling E! News, "I'm always the last to know these things. Just let Miley know that I'll pick her up for dinner at 8."

A source had told Us Weekly magazine Cook and Cyrus are "hooking up." The pair had an impromptu dance party together in December 2013, and the comedian showed his support for Cyrus during her breakup with Partick Schwarzenegger.
Cook previously dated actress Raquel Houghton, and has been linked to singers Jessica Simpson and Nicole Scherzinger. Cyrus is rumored to be involved with model Stella Maxwell, despite declaring herself single in the October issue of Elle U.K.
The comedian came to fame doing stand-up shows, and has starred in such films as Mr. Brooks and Good Luck Chuck. Cyrus, meanwhile, released Bangerz in October 2013, and followed up with Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz in August.
