LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- TV personality Tori Spelling is suing Benihana after sustaining third degree burns via a hibachi grill while visiting the restaurant in April.

Spelling, 42, reportedly filed a personal injury suit at the Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday.

E! News reports the documents list Spelling's claims of wage loss, hospital, medical expenses and loss of earning capacity after slipping over the grill during an Easter lunch. She is reportedly looking for the restaurant to compensate her for damages.

As reported in April, the former 90210 actress slipped and fell just after posing for an Instagram photo with her nephew. She was then instructed by a doctor to visit a burn center in West Hills, Calif., to undergo treatment, including skin grafts.

After the meal, Spelling posted another photo on Instagram with the caption "Perfect #Easter Sunday! Aside from the Benihana Burn!"

"At #Easter lunch with my amazing family and extended family. Loving on my precious nephew Boz! @imdeanmcdermott @scoutmasterson @thebillhorn @sethchernoff #TheFamilyYouChooseToCreateIsEverything." Photo by torispelling/Instagram
