Sofia Vergara dresses up as Peg Bundy in Instagram post

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Actress Sofia Vergara channeled famous television character Peg Bundy in an Instagram post directed at Modern Family co-star Ed O' Neil Wednesday.

Peggy, played by Katey Sagal, was married to O'Neil's Al Bundy on the popular late 80s family sitcom Married...With Children. Currently Vergara plays his wife Gloria on Modern Family.

Married with Children aired for 11 seasons on Fox before going off the air in 1997. The hard-hitting comedy is a fan favorite with a spin-off currently being developed.

The photo showcases Vergara sporting Peggy's signature curly red hair with the caption "Do you like this look Ed Oneal."

Sofia Vergara is currently planning her wedding with actor Joe Manganiello and will guest star on an episode of The Simpsons this fall.
