'Sleepy Hollow,' 'Monsters University' to air on ABC Family's '13 Nights of Halloween'

BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- ABC Family has announced this year's lineup of spooky flicks for its 13 Nights of Halloween special.

The network celebration will kick of Monday, Oct. 19 and run until Halloween on Oct. 31. Johnny Depp's Sleepy Hollow will make its debut on the channel as well as Disney/Pixar's Monsters University.

The programming will begin with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2 and bring back classic selections as Hocus Pocus, Corpse Bride, The Addams Family, Matilda and The Night Before Christmas. Other recent newcomers include The Hunger Games, ParaNorman and Dark Shadows.

Director Tim Burton makes a heavy dent in this year's line up with five headlining flicks.

ABC Family also hosts a season of special programming during December known as 25 Days of Christmas during which new and classic holiday films are featured.
