LONDON, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Actress and author Kim Cattrall will be one of the guest editors for "Woman's Hour Takeover Week" on BBC Radio 4 later this month.

Cattrall's edition of the program is set to kick off the series Sept. 14. She will focus on "choosing a life without children, as well as explore the themes of aging, being single later in life and loss," the British broadcaster said in a news release.

"Last year, we had a great response to our guest editors and I'm really pleased that we've been able to secure five more inspiring women who will each bring a fresh outlook and ideas to the Woman's Hour team," Alice Feinstein, Woman's Hour editor, said in a statement Tuesday. "Their knowledge and expertise on a diverse range of subjects offers a starting point for discussions which we hope will resonate with our listeners."

Cattrall, 59, is best known for her portrayal of the outrageous and independent Samantha in the Sex and the City TV series and films.
