NEW YORK, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Presidential hopeful Donald Trump has been booked for a September appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, NBC announced.

The Republican frontrunner will sit down with Fallon and discuss his campaign and other issues on Friday, Sept. 11 according to NBC's press release.

Throughout August, Fallon has impersonated Trump in skits involving the former Celebrity Apprentice host taking campaign advice from President Obama while another one involved Trump clarifying his comments about Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

Trump is the third political candidate scheduled to make a late night appearance as both Jeb Bush and Bernie Sanders will be featured on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in September.
