Vanessa Hudgens, sister Stella Hudgens attend MTV VMAs

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Vanessa Hudgens and younger sister Stella Hudgens attended the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

The 26-year-old actress and her 19-year-old sibling turned heads on the red carpet in sumptuous floral appliqué gowns. Hudgens wore a dusty rose dress with rose gold accessories, while Stella Hudgens opted for a cream ensemble with gold jewelry.

The sisters documented their prep for the ceremony on social media, with Hudgens sharing a behind-the-scenes photo of the pair having their hair and makeup done and a picture of them riding to the event. "En route with @StellaHudgens!" she wrote.

Hudgens is the elder daughter of Gregory and Gina Hudgens. The actress revealed her dad was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer during her acceptance speech at the Industry Dance Awards earlier this month.

Hudgens completed a stint as the title character in Gigi on Broadway in June, and will next star in the movie Kitchen Sink with Ed Westwick. Stella Hudgens, also an actress, is scheduled to play Everlast in new series Mr. Hollywood.
