NEW YORK, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Beloved film and stage star James Earl Jones is the latest celebrity to become the target of an Internet death hoax.
CNN said the web was recently rife with rumors the 84-year-old Star Wars and Field of Dreams icon had died, however, thankfully, Jones is not only alive and well, but working.

The actor is currently preparing to co-star with Cicely Tyson in the upcoming Broadway production of The Gin Game. His other recent theater credits include Driving Miss Daisy, The Best Man and Much Ado About Nothing.
