LOS ANGELES, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Amber Rose and best friend Blac Chyna made a statement with their outfits at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

The 31-year-old model and former exotic dancer Blac Chyna wore custom ensembles covered with the words "golddigger," "stripper" and other slurs to beat their critics to the punch. Two fans in Philadelphia, Pa., designed and made the jumpsuit and dress for the women.

"We just got to a point in our lives where we're sick of getting ridiculed for loving men and being sexual beings and just being sexy women in general," Rose told MTV News at the ceremony.

"We constantly get called these names and now we just got to a point where we don't give a [expletive] and we're embracing all the slut shaming, all the name calling. And [expletive] be winning."

Rose will host a "slut walk" in Los Angeles on Oct. 3 to bring attention to "sexual injustice, victim blaming, derogatory labeling and gender inequality." The model has raised nearly $50,000 for the event, including a $14,000 donation from actor Nick Cannon.
