LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- The Voice coach Gwen Stefani stepped out Wednesday night to promote the NBC talent show during her first public appearance since announcing her divorce with Gavin Rossdale.

The No Doubt singer wore a classic white blouse and patterned skirt on the red carpet of the event -- which she attended alongside fellow Voice coaches Blake Shelton -- who is also divorcing -- Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams. Instead of a wedding band, the platinum-blonde star opted for a simple pearl ring on her finger instead.

Stefani and Rossdale announced their divorce at the beginning of August, citing irreconcilable differences.

"While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment," Stefani and Rossdale said in a joint statement at the time.

"To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time."
