Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates, wife Amanda to divorce

Amanda Hall is said to have filed to end her marriage to Hall in May.

HARTFORD, Conn., Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Daryl Hall and wife Amanda Hall will reportedly divorce.

Amanda Hall, the daughter of late British zoo owner and gambling tycoon John Aspinall, filed to end her six-year marriage to the 68-year-old singer in May. Word of the documents broke this week, and TMZ reports the couple had a prenup.

Hall and his wife married in 2009, and were living with Amanda Hall's two sons, March and Orson, from a previous relationship. The singer was previously wed to Bryna Lublin from 1969 to 1972, and was involved with Sara Allen for over 30 years.

Hall is best known as the co-founder and singer of musical duo Hall & Oates. He and John Oates came to fame in the 1970s, and last released the live album Live at the Troubadour in 2008. The singer currently hosts the web series Live from Daryl's House.
