A witness told The New York Daily News they heard seven gunshots ring out on their way to their car and that the situation escalated after "an argument" broke out.

Another witness said that they saw the suspect approach the two men and started firing shots.

"He took those two dudes out right away," Mike Lefanto told the site, "It looked like he knew what he was doing." He and his 13-year old daughter, Bella, were walking through the parking lot at the time.

The New York Times reported the victims were flown by helicopter to the Jersey Shore Hospital, where one is in critical condition.

Police spokesman Sgt. First Class Gregory Williams said they have been searching for the suspect in a wooded area near the venue, but have come up with nothing.

Rappers J. Cole and Big Sean had just finished their sold out concert when the shooting took place, and are heading to Madison Square Garden next on the Mr' Cole's Forest Hill Drive Tour.
