"I am deeply saddened that after 10.5 weeks, we suffer this loss," Roman told E! News. "We knew this would be an uphill battle. We were up against the odds. I have a prolapsed uterus and am diabetic ... We were prayerful, we had and still have faith. We are not giving up."

"This is a tough time for us," Youngblood added. "It is the worst pain I've felt since losing my mother. I want people to understand the sensitivity of this situation. We are hurting and negative comments don't help."

Roman and Youngblood, who is 17 years her junior, started dating in 2014. The reality star was previously married to retired NBA star Kenny Anderson, and shares two daughters, Lyric and Jazz, with the former basketball player.

Roman came to fame on The Real World: Los Angeles, and later starred on Basketball Wives. She and Youngblood currently appear with Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett and other couples on Marriage Boot Camp, which airs Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on WE.
