NEW YORK, July 31 (UPI) -- Jon Stewart announced who will be making guest appearances in his last few episodes of The Daily Show.

Amy Schumer, Louis C.K., and Denis Leary are the chosen few who will be bidding the host and comedian farewell as he ends his 19-year streak.

"Remember, next week is our last week," Stewart told the audience. "We're going to have a ball, and I can't wait to show my appreciation at all the support and enthusiasm that you guys have given the show all these years."

Stewart explained that Louis C.K. and Denis Leary were invited simply because they are his favorite guests and very good friends.

"I get to not work [and] [explicit] around with them for five minutes," he said.

Earlier this month, Leary announced on Twitter that he was going to be a guest on the show on Aug. 4 saying, "Me & Jon sing the final 'Go [Explicit] Yourself' with a 40 person choir."

The Washington Post reported that the last episode, which will air on Aug. 6 is being kept under wraps.
