LOS ANGELES, July 29 (UPI) -- DUI's should always be taken seriously.

But in joking about his recent arrest, John Stamos reminded the audience on the set of Fuller House why he's been a fan favorite for so many years.

Stamos made his first appearance on the show's set Tuesday, after spending 30 days in rehab for his June arrest. The actor, who plays Uncle Jesse on the family sitcom, left the crowd in stitches when he made light of his bust after a prop car failed to arrive onset.

"Well, I have a car," Stamos said while explaining to the group why they couldn't shoot the scene. "But I can't drive."

Beside the impromptu comment, a source told TMZ Stamos "nailed every scene."

Stamos has been giving fans a laugh by posting photos from behind the scenes along with Full House co-stars Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget and David Allen Collier.

The most recent photo shows a screaming Stamos being chased by a laughing Loughlin outside the studio on her birthday. The caption read, "Running from birthday woman!! @loriloughlin."

This is a stark contrast to the pic he posted just prior that showed Stamos handing the 51-year-old-beauty a bouquet of roses for her birthday, saying "51 Flowers for our favorite fun girl. #HappyBirthdayBecky."

The two will continue to play a married couple in the revived series, and, according to The New York Daily News they will be joined by their former onscreen twin boys Nicky and Alex.

That's right. Actors Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit, who played Stamos and Loughlin's sons, will be returning, which Blake revealed via Instagram on Tuesday by captioning a picture of the show's script with "It's Nicky time."

The Olsen twins are still considering whether they to will return to the Netflix series. The show is set to premiere in 2016.
