LOS ANGELES, July 24 (UPI) -- Kristen Bell recently surprised a young fan suffering from an inoperable brain tumor.

The 35-year-old actress left a voicemail as her Frozen character, Princess Anna, for 6-year-old Avery Huffman of Seattle, Wash. Avery was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), a cancerous tumor, at the end of June.

The young fan's father, Brandon Huffman, posted a video of his daughter's reaction to the message Friday on YouTube. "Anna" revealed her shared love of bunnies, and said her sister, Queen Elsa, would love to make Avery an honorary Princess of Arendelle.

Brandon Huffman chronicles Avery's journey on the Caring Bridge website, and said he watched Frozen with his daughter Thursday. "Avery was given some Frozen bracelets, and one of [her] requirements to watch the movie tonight was that I had to wear one of the bracelets," he shared.

Bell voiced Princess Anna in the 2013 Disney movie, and reprised the role for short film Frozen Fever. The actress declared she would like to "play Anna forever" following confirmation of sequel Frozen 2 in March, and currently stars on Showtime series House of Lies.
