HOUSTON, July 23 (UPI) -- Brittney Griner says her ex-wife Glory Johnson cheated in the couple's annulment documents.

The 24-year-old Phoenix Mercury center accused the Tusa Shock forward, also 24, of texting with an ex-boyfriend during their engagement and sleeping with a man while they were dating, according to papers obtained by TMZ.

Griner reportedly found out about Johnson's alleged indiscretions after they wed in May, and would not have proposed had she known. The former couple married a week after they were arrested for domestic violence, and Griner filed for an annulment 28 days after their wedding.

Johnson's rep, D.J. Fisher, called the cheating claims "false," and said only an "insecure person" would suspect the basketball player of being unfaithful. "[Johnson is] popular and beautiful, so she's going to have male friends," he explained.

Griner is said to be loath to pay her ex-wife spousal support due to the short length and nature of their marriage. The former couple announced Johnson is pregnant the day before Griner filed for an annulment, but the WBNA center has no biological connection to the child.
